"How the Moon Became Beautiful"

In creating the motifs for this short story, I used the shape tool in illustrator to come up with the variations of the moon and stars, and in creating the petals and leaves of the flower, the heart, and the half moon, I combined different shapes together. In creating the girl seen in some of the motifs, I used the shape tool to create her head and hair, but in other motifs I utilized the brush tool in creating her hair as well as her nose in one of the motifs. I wish and hope to further these motifs into something more dimensional.
